Colourful can mean:
:bulletwhite::bulletwhite: A different colour than brown, black or white
:bulletwhite::bulletwhite: An unusual pattern, like many stripes or dots
:bulletwhite::bulletwhite: A very rare bird, highly endangered and/or endemic on only one island
:bulletwhite::bulletwhite: A very unusual body shape for a bird
  • The last three points have to be decided in single cases, only a brown bird with dots is not exotic.

~~Albinos are rare and are therefore accepted as exotic~~
